Environmental operating standards are increasingly stringent, and we are committed to meeting all regulatory requirements in the studio and on site. We ensure that all staff are aware of environmental issues and the safe handling of materials. We favour water based products whenever possible. The workshop and office were recently refurbished using the latest low energy fittings, low energy lighting and Long wave AlfaStrip radiant heat heating panels which are 98% efficient. We have signed up to EDF energy's Green Tariff.
Recycling
Our recycling is carried out by a company called Paper Round which although now a standalone company was initiated by Friends of the Earth.
For the office they recycle: white paper, printer cartridges, mixed paper, cans & plastic bottles, glass and IT equipment.For the workshop they recycle: glass, cardboard, cans, plastic wrappers.
